Cold Case New Indictments

The Houston County District Attorney's office have charged a man with a 15-year-old cold-case murder.

District Attorney Rabb Wilkerson says the Houston grand jury has indicted 43-year-old David Ray Hallmon with murdering Diane Campbell.

Her body was found in the summer of 1995 behind the Admiral Benbow Inn on Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins. Campell was severely beaten.

Hallmon is charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

Wilkerson says Sgt. Al Elvins and Lt. Jon Holland of the Houston County sheriff's department cracked the case.

Hallmon is currently jailed in San Antonio Texas he may face charges there first before being returned to Georgia to face the new indictments.
