ax over the nation
Editor:
It appears that your Staff Writer, Jake Jacobs, is on the distribution list of the daily release of the White House Talking Points. His Editorial in the Warner Robins Patriot’s March 24th edition lists the same rhetoric that they have been spewing for months.
Such things like the Republicans have been spreading misinformation about the “death panels”. True, the words “Death Panel” is not in the language, but, what else can you call it when an unelected group of individuals not trained in the medical field is reviewing whether it would be cost effective and in the best interest of the government to allow medical procedures based on the age and current health condition of an individual? If the procedure is a death or life situation and it is denied, then what else would the panel (be) called?
Jake continued to follow the White House talking points by denigrating the patriots that are identified with the Tea Party movement. Also, he fell right in line with the bunch that talked about the racial slurs (although none was recorded by video or audio) that participated in the pathetic march up to the Capitol steps with Queen Pelosi carrying the ridicules gavel that appeared to be the size of Paul Bunyan’s Ax! The march was nothing more than the Democrats making a “in your Face” statement to the American people.
He sounded like he was happily writing the obituary of the Republican Party while the Honor Guard was standing by for the 21 Gun Salute and the bugler played Taps.
The sad part of the whole Obama, Reid and Pelosi attempt to take over the government with their Marxist agenda is that there are still a few people out there that believe it. And, the scary thing about that is that they vote too.

Priorities above G-RAMP
Editor:
G-RAMP will soon start an environmental assessment that will cost $88,000 or so and last a year or less. It's supposed to create thousands of new jobs and save the USAF millions of taxpayer funds.
But if encroachment at the end of the North runway is not resolved by the next BRAC non-attainment status will prohibit all new missions to RAFB and the economic loss will be drastic to our community.
If our city council can afford $72 million for G-RAMP then it must fund whatever it takes to end our encroachment status by buying up the homes involved like the other two depots resolved years ago!
This should be our number one goal, not G-RAMP.

Thanks to the community
Editor:
The Houston County District Attorney's Office and Department of Juvenile Justice in conjunction with the Juvenile Division of the Sheriff's Office and Juvenile court would like to send out our sincere gratitude to all those who helped make the Third Annual Community Car Wash a success. We had over 50 teens participate and washed nearly 450 cars. We really appreciate all those from the community who came to get their car washed. We hope the line was worth the wait. As for those we were not able to get to due to time constraints, we hope to see you next year. A special thanks goes out to our sponsors: Artistic Monograms, Frito Lay, Papa Johns Pizza (Russell Pkwy), My Father’s Place Pizza, Domino’s Pizza (Moody Rd), Chic-Fil-A (Watson), Popeye’s, Larry’s Giant Subs (Hwy 96), Walmart (both locations), Target, Publix (Russell), Fairfield Inn, Ms. Peggy Nall, The Law Firm of Susan McNally, Ms. Deloris Glassford, and the Houston County Fire Department.
This successful community activity could not have been accomplished without their help and support.
