Warner Robins – Erline C. McKenzie, 84, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 14, 2010.
Born in Mount Vernon, Georgia, to the late Harley Canady and Willie Grant Canady, she resided in Warner Robins since 1953, was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and the Esther Sunday School Class. Mrs. McKenzie retired from Robins Air Force Base after twenty years of faithful service in Supply Management. Siblings Julian Canady, William Canady and Wautine Monford all predeceased her.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of sixty-seven years, Joseph Edgar McKenzie, Warner Robins; daughter, Dianne M. Catt (Jim), Madison, Mississippi; grandchildren, Stephanie Polk (Eddie), Tracy Thompson (Ray), and Jason Catt (Anna); great-grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor, Allison, and Abbey Polk, Walt and McKenzie Thompson, and Morgan Catt; a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Monday, March 15, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Pastor Johnny Ellison officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Westview Cemetery, Soperton, Georgia.
