Centerville police make arrests in burglary, armed robberies

Centerville Police and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people Dec. 29 and charged them with burglary and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

The suspects are Blake Robert Love, 18; Jesus Alberto Valdivia, 18; and Justin Steve Sumner, 17.

The three are being held at the Houston County Jail, a news release stated.

Police said an investigation is continuing, and additional charges and arrests are being reviewed.

On Jan.1, Centerville Police and the Houston County Sheriff’s office arrested a suspect in an alleged armed robbery, according to a news release from the police department.

Blair Alexander Taylor, 24, of Warner Robins has been charged in an armed robber incident at the Subway restaurant on Houston Lake Road, the release stated.

Taylor is currently being held at the Houston County Jail.

The investigation is continuing and additional charges are being reviewed, according to the news release from Anthony B. Cooper, Centerville director of public safety.
