This event is designed to be an old fashioned political rally with an expected attendance of approximately 300 to 400 people. The purpose of HobNob is to give Chamber members and others in the community an opportunity to meet with candidates and representatives from their campaigns on a one-to-one basis. The Chamber has invited all candidates on the 2010 statewide ballots including candidates for Governor, regional candidates for State Senate, State House, and U.S. Congress, and local candidates in the cities of Warner Robins , Centerville , Perry, Fort Valley , Byron, and others.

During the event, the Chamber plans to conduct a “straw vote” (with computers) on the 2010 gubernatorial race and may have one or two other issue-oriented poll questions. The Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-partisan organization. The Chamber does NOT endorse or oppose candidates for public office.

The cost of the event is $10.00 for members of any Georgia Chamber and $10.00 for students, seniors 65 & up, educators and active duty military with IDs. The cost is $25.00 for all others.
