WARNER ROBINS - Officials have changed the location for U.S. Rep. Jim Marshall's Monday town hall meeting in Warner Robins.

The new location will be the Homer J. Walker Civic Center at 702 Watson Boulevard. The previous location had been VFW Post 6605 on Corder Road. The 6 p.m.start time for the meeting has not changed.

Doug Moore, Marshall's press aide, said the move was made to accommodate a much larger turnout than originally expected.

"Due to the capacity turnout in Forsyth (on Wednesday) and the expectation of a larger crowd in Warner Robins, the meeting has been moved to a new location with a significantly larger capacity," Moore related in a Thursday afternoon press release.

More than 450 people participated in the Forsyth meeting, exceeding the capacity of the Mary Persons High School auditorium.
