Enter stage left, exit stage right: a young bird with no tail, an elephant who talks to flowers and a quirky cat in a tall hat. All of these can be found right down the street at Warner Robins High School. The 4th wall theater camp is in its second year and this time around they are tackling Seussical Jr. The camp teaches choreography to the young actors as well as vocal coaching. The kids are also taught acting fundamentals which include vocal projection and stage presence skills. The camp concludes with an opportunity for the children to perform on stage and today the kids participated in a full on dress rehearsal. 4th Wall has all skill levels and the young actors range from seasoned veterans to aspiring broadway stars. The kids have a great time meeting new friends and it is a great place to learn to grow as a person. So if you want to boost literacy? Teach your child to imagine the unimaginable as well cultivate curiosity? Get your child to the nearest theater, you will glad you did.
