Panthers, Lady Eagles off to 2-0 start

High school soccer is under way with local schools having played at least one match so far – not counting a scrimmage.

For Warner Robins, the boys are 0-1-0 after having lost to Perry this past Tuesday 2-1. The Demonettes on the other hand are 1-0-0 after having beaten the Lady Panthers 2-0.

Perry’s girls fell to 0-2-0, their other loss coming to Northside. That was on Thursday of this past week, 1-0. The Panthers are 2-0-0. In addition to their win over the Demons, they also beat the Eagles, 4-2.

And in that regard, Northside’s boys are 1-1. Their win came against East Laurens Feb. 13, 6-0. The Lady Eagles beat the Lady Falcons (East Laurens) 7-0 to improve to 2-0-0.

Houston County’s boys are 1-0-0 after beating Lowndes 4-1. That was on Friday. The Lady Bears lost to the Lady Vikings the same day 2-0 to fell to 0-1-0.

And finally, Veterans High’s girls are 1-0-0. They beat Ola 2-0 Friday. The boys, however, fell 2-0 in the nightcap and are 0-1-0.
