Georgia Eagle Broadcasting, Inc. in 2009 participated, hosted, and promoted job fair events hosted by the
Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce (each year in the spring) as well as other chamber events (Play Day, Business after Hours, etc.) as a way of promoting broadcasting in our community and through networking making the community aware of employment opportunities with
Georgia Eagle Broadcasting in Warner Robins. We participate in job bank opportunities for all 30 hour or more employment opportunities through the
Georgia Department of Labor and through all local education institutions as well as
The University of Georgia (School of Journalism).
During the summer of 2009,
Georgia Eagle Broadcasting, Inc. in our Warner Robins office established an internship program in order to give interested students an opportunity to work in a broadcasting setting in order to gain skills and understanding of opportunities in our industry. Three students have participated in this part-time internship program since its inception in June of 2009.
