Veterans also scored a run in the third, fourth and fifth and three in the sixth. Baldwin pushed one across in the second, one in the fourth and three in the sixth.
Ben Williams, Micah Wells and Zane Conlon all doubled for the Warhawks. Conlon finished with two RBI and Williams one.
Dylan Spires threw six innings for Veterans and Keaton Allen one. Spires walked three and struck out five. Allen struck out one without walking a hitter.
The Warhawks improved to 7-6 overall and 7-1 in Region 2-AAA. Baldwin fell to 2-11, 2-6.
Perry also used a big inning to get past Peach County – although it was up 4-0 at the time. The Panthers scored 11 runs in the fourth and coupled with the three it pushed across in the first and one in the third rolled to a 15-0 win in four innings.
It out-hit the Trojans 12-2.
Dillon Hendrix had three of those hits, going 3-3 with four RBI and two runs scored. J.C. Bergh had two, going 2-2 with two walks. He had two RBI and scored a run.
Nathan Murphy also went 1-2 and drove in two and scored one and Myles Sowell went 1-2 also with two RBI and a run scored.
Sowell also pitched the four innings. He walked three and struck out six.
Perry improved to 6-8 overall, 5-3 in 2-AAA. Peach fell to 2-9, 1-7.
