Northside and Warner Robins pretty much dominate the first team and Warner Robins Head Coach Bryan Way was named Coach of the Year.
The Eagles had 15 named to the first team and the Demons six. Bainbridge had three, Thomas County Central one and Lee County one. Houston County did not have a player named to the first team but did have three named to the second team.
Northside had four named to the second team and Warner Robins seven.
First teamers for Northside were: Drew Foley, a senior center; C.J. Haslem, a senior guard; D.J. Williams, a senior tackle; Keshun Hill, a junior wide receiver; Miguel Williams, a senior all-purpose player; Marte Polk, a senior running back; Jack Montgomery, a senior quarterback; Dillon Mixon, a senior placekicker. That was the offense. The defensive stars were: Josh Chester, a senior defensive tackle; Anfernee Chatfield, a junior defensive end; Trey Payne, a junior linebacker; Corey Lockett, a senior linebacker; Taz Thomas, a senior defensive back and Mixon and Hill also earned honors on that side of the ball.
First teamers for Warner Robins were: Jim Dart, a senior guard; Greg Farms, a senior tackle (he was also named to play in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s North-South All-Star game in Columbus Dec. 30); Kyle Griffin, a senior tight end and Brian Sutton, a senior running back.
That, too, was the offense. Defensive stars for the Demons were: Moses Allen, a senior linebacker and Jalen Rountree, a senior defensive back.
Bears named to the second team were: Brandon Bagley, a junior guard; Dylan Dunbar, a senior tackle and Daryn Carter, a senior wide receiver.
Northside’s second teamers were: A’donis Hampton, a senior wide receiver; Austin Roberts, a junior defensive tackle; Divinci Sanders, a senior defensive back and Rodney Levine, a junior defensive back.
Warner Robins’ second teamers were: Rountree at wide receiver; Kyle Floyd, a senior placekicker; Greg Carswell, a senior defensive tackle; Sherkon Wright, a junior defensive end; Michael Lee, a senior linebacker; James Gardner, a senior defensive back and Caleb Floyd, a senior punter.
