Houston County 4-H’ers spent the first afternoon of their Holiday break making Holiday inspired crafts and edibles. The Holiday Workshop was conducted by the 4-H Program assistant, Miss Kayleigh Sullivan, at the 4-H office in downtown Perry.Kelli Barnes, 4-H Program Youth Development VISTA, also helped with the workshop.

The workshop participants were all Cloverleaf 4-H members (4-H’ers in grades 4-6.) They

included Hunter Holder, Rachel Faulkner, Hydee Kezar, Casi Reynolds, Lauryn Cernaro, Madison Dickens, and Hayden Fuller.

At the Holiday Crafts Workshop, the 4-H’ers made chocolate dipped marshmallow hot cocoa stirs, constructed gingerbread houses, crafted ornaments, decorated holiday bags, and just had a fun holiday time together. This was a great, festive way to kick off the Holiday season for the 4-H’ers.

4-H Holiday Craft Workshop is sponsored by the Houston County 4-H Program. For additional information on other activities 4-H provides for youth in grades 4-12 please contact the Houston County 4-H Office at (478) 987-2028, [email protected], or visit us on the web at www.houston4h.org.
